In the final event in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Health Care Forum Series, which took place in Pittsburgh Nov. 2, esteemed panelists from across the country discussed the roles and responsibilities of people who use the health care system.
Most of the panelists felt “consumer” wasn’t the best term, but agreed that whatever you want to call us — people who are, who have been, or who will be patients — we need to be more involved in our care.
